Simply create your student account and verify your student status to access developer resources, contests, trainings and download the same tools and products used by professional developers. Student Discount Software Educational Software Discounts OnTheHub links students, faculty and staff to exclusive academic discount software. It has formerly been known as Microsoft Imagine, DreamSpark and MSDN-AA. Azure Dev Tools for Teaching (previously known as Microsoft Imagine Standard and Premium) is a subscription-based offering for accredited schools and departments providing access to tools commonly used in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs.
As a College of Communication and Information student, faculty, or staff member, you have access to a variety of applications for free or drastically reduced prices.

Microsoft Imagine, formerly DreamSpark, is a program that supports technical education by providing access to Microsoft software for learning, teaching, and research purposes. On top of access to a variety of Microsoft software, the College has also partnered with other companies through OnTheHub. Login to our software portal to see a full list of the software available.

Access to the software portal is processed after drop/add of each semester. Please email [email protected] for further information or if you are having trouble accessing your account.
You must be a current student, faculty, or staff member in order to access the online portal. Students must be taking at least one credit hour within the College of Communication & Information.
You may continue to use the software after you are no longer taking classes in the department. Please note that some software licenses are only valid for a fixed period of time.
